With the release of the new version of Windows 11 by Microsoft, many users have deciphered their confidence in this new version in terms of how they have created new interfaces with high gammas in design and functions. Unfortunately, although the version is promising, it has presented many drastic failures in the equipment. Nevertheless, despite everything, many users have been able to search for the solution to their problems personally.
What are the Possible Reasons why your Windows Search Bar is not Working?
This new version of Windows has generated a state of errors with many computers due to the incompatibility of AMD processors, the amount of minimum resources that it cannot provide depending on the Hardware, and the input devices. Among other notable factors, since Microsoft services are not being connected and tend to retain some functions, these errors are affected internally or externally, and in some extreme cases a reinstallation is required.
What should you do when your Windows 11 Browser is not Working Correctly?
You must enter your file explorer, or in the desktop icon called Computer, select the disk that contains the system that presents the failure. It can be called by default “Local Disk C:”. Once inside, you must locate the Windows folder, go to the subfolder Systema32 and look for the application called ‘ctfmon’ by pressing the right click and ‘Send to Desktop’.
Therefore, using the keyboard you must simultaneously press the Windows + R keys or also the Menu + R key in some cases, where it will show a window. Then, you must write the following phrase ‘shell:startup’, where a new explorer window will open of files and there you will have to move the shortcut that you have created on the desktop called `ctfmon ´, then close the windows.
Press the ‘Windows +R’ keys again, type the new launcher window ‘services.msc’, and press the Enter key. Go to the next section of services called Handwriting panel and touch the keyboard service by double-clicking. In the General section you must change the ‘Startup type’ that is manual to the new option of ‘Automatic’ and accept the changes made.
Open the ‘task manager’ by right-clicking on the bottom bar of the desktop and it will show you and click on the Task Manager section. You can also press the Ctrl + Alt + Delete keys. Next, find Windows Explorer press the click right of your mouse and in the drop-down window touch where ‘Restart’ appears.
Right-click again on the bottom bar of the desktop and look for the ‘Task Manager’ option, click on Files and Run new task, tap on browse and look for the ‘cmd’ file and tap on Open. You will need to type the following commands: ‘stf /scanfile=c:\windows\system32\ieframe.dll’ ‘cls’ ‘sfc /verifyfile=c:\windows\system32\ieframe.dll’ ‘cls’ ‘assoc’ ‘cls’ ‘chkdsk’ ‘cls’ ‘sfc /scannow’ ‘Exit’
Hide and show the Search Bar Again
Enter `Run´ with the Windows + R keys and type services.msc, locate the server, open the handwriting panel section, and touch keyboard services. Once located in the General tab in the Startup type drop-down box, we change it to Automatic mode, touch the Recovery tab, validate that it is in Restart the service mode accepting the changes, and test the search bar.
You can also enter the taskbar with the Ctrl + Alt + delete keys and in the lower right part of more detail, this if it does not show the list of tasks, we look for the File Explorer and with the right click we give it in ` restart ´, and we tried the bar.
Use the Windows Troubleshooter.
Point the pointer at the Start option, settings, Update and security, therefore, to the option ‘troubleshoot’, Windows update, Run the troubleshooter. This option will look for faults in your computer and repair it automatically according to the wizard’s instructions. Otherwise you must do it step by step according to the previous steps.
Go to voice typing
It may be that in some cases your PC does not fully recognize your ‘keyboard’ input device and you require the voice assistant. You can activate this option by pressing the Windows + H keys, where you must go to the search bar by pressing on it and discuss with your assistant what you want to look for.
How can you check if the problem is with your Hardware and not internal?
With the voice assistant you can verify if the problems are hardware related, in some cases this failure is common due to the incompatibility that this new version of Windows has. You must take into account the amount of minimum resources that your computer must have to avoid possible accidents of the system with other equipment and check if this system can be used or not, or if you already have the new version of Windows installed, you can go back to your previous version of Windows 10.
